A peaceful night turned into a nightmare for residents of Agbo Vengav Udam in Gwer West Local Government Area of Benue State, as armed Fulani herders launched a deadly attack while many slept.
The assault, which occurred in the early hours of the night, left at least seven people dead, with several others reported missing. Among the victims was a young girl, tragically killed during the invasion. Her mother was abducted by the assailants, and her whereabouts remain unknown as of the time of this report.
