As Christians across the world commemorate Palm Sunday today, we are reminded of the triumphant entry of our Lord Jesus Christ into Jerusalem—a moment marked by joy, reverence, and hope. It is a significant day that ushers in the Holy Week and sets the tone for the passion, sacrifice, and ultimate resurrection of Christ. Palm Sunday symbolizes not only the fulfillment of prophecy but also the humility and peace that Jesus embodied, riding on a donkey and greeted by a crowd waving palm branches in praise.
In our daily lives, and especially in times like these, this sacred occasion calls us to reflect deeply on our values, our faith, and our responsibilities—to ourselves, our families, our communities, and our beloved country, Nigeria.
