A Kenyan pastor has caused outrage after slapping a church member during a service. The pastor, identified as Ng’ang’a, approached a young man who was caught sleeping in church.
He slapped the member multiple times and ordered him to move to the back of the church. In a video shared by Wikigists, the pastor also threatened to remove a woman from the front row, questioning why she hadn’t woken up the man next to her.
The incident has drawn public backlash, with community leaders and members of the public urging the Director of Criminal Investigations to arrest and charge the pastor for his actions, calling for legal consequences over the assault.
