Nigeria’s business heavyweights, Aliko Dangote, Mike Adenuga, Abdulsamad Rabiu, and Femi Otedola, have once again secured their positions on Forbes’ 2025 “Africa’s Billionaires List,” released on Saturday.
Mike Adenuga, ranking fifth, boasts a portfolio of $6.8 billion, while Abdulsamad Rabiu’s wealth stands at $5.1 billion. Femi Otedola, with a net worth of $1.5 billion, emerges as the 16th richest person in Africa and one of the fastest-growing billionaires on the list.
The 2025 list reveals a record-breaking combined wealth of Africa’s billionaires, surpassing $100 billion for the first time.
South Africa leads the continent with seven billionaires, followed by Nigeria and Egypt, each with four.
