In a bid to improve access to clean and potable water, the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation is set to inaugurate three critical water projects in Benue State under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The projects, aimed at enhancing water supply and reducing waterborne diseases, include:
• Rehabilitation & Upgrading of the Buruku-Gboko Water Supply Project
• Rehabilitation & Improvement of the Wannune Water Supply Project
• Construction of the Ugbema Water Supply Project
These initiatives will significantly boost the availability of clean water in the state, improving public health and the overall well-being of residents.
The official flag-off ceremony will be performed by the Honourable Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Engr. Prof. Joseph Terlumun Utsev, FNSE, FNICE, at the Ameladu, Gboko Treatment Plant on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 11 a.m.
Stakeholders, community leaders, and the general public are encouraged to attend this landmark event.
