The Chairman of the Zone C Local Government Election Petition Tribunal, Hon. Justice M.M. Odinya, has announced that the tribunal will commence its sittings at a new location following the relocation of the Benue State Local Government Election Petition Tribunal to Abuja.
According to an official notice, proceedings for Zone C will now take place at the 2nd floor of the NBA House, Abuja, starting on Monday, March 10, 2025. Lawyers appearing before the Zone C panel are urged to take note of this change and make the necessary arrangements to attend.
The relocation comes as part of administrative adjustments to facilitate the handling of local government election petitions in Benue State. Further details regarding the tribunal’s schedule and proceedings are expected to be communicated in due course.
For now, all legal practitioners and concerned parties are advised to adhere to the new directive to ensure the smooth conduct of the tribunal’s activities.
