In attendance are Chairman of the APC state chapter, Cornelius Ojelabi, and other key party leaders. The gathering has sparked speculation that the leadership crisis at the House may be nearing its end, with unconfirmed reports suggesting that Meranda may resign today.
Obasa arrived at the meeting around 1:30 pm, joining the lawmakers and party leaders. In a significant development, Obasa, Meranda, Ojelabi, and the Attorney General have separated from the lawmakers to hold a private meeting.
