The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State has suspended Alhaji Kabir Sani-Giant, the Special Adviser to Governor Nasir Idris on Power and Politics, for allegedly bringing a snake to the Government House.
In a statement issued on Sunday, APC’s state secretary, Alhaji Sa’idu Muhammad-Kimba, announced the immediate suspension of Sani-Giant, citing the incident that occurred on February 8, 2025.
According to the statement, Sani-Giant’s actions caused alarm among dignitaries, statesmen, and government officials present at the Government House.
Muhammad-Kimba stated that the conduct could bring embarrassment and disrepute to the party, adding that it also violated APC’s constitution.
“The party deemed his behaviour offensive and embarrassing,” he said.
He further noted that Sani-Giant’s suspension would remain in effect pending further investigations, warning that repeated misconduct could lead to expulsion.
“His suspension remains in place pending further investigation and possible disciplinary action, which could lead to expulsion if repeated,” Muhammad-Kimba added.
