The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended a 38-year-old man and his friend for allegedly defiling and impregnating his 14-year-old stepdaughter.
CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson, stated that the suspects conspired to sexually assault the girl in the Okokomaiko area.
The survivor’s mother reported the incident at the Okokomaiko Police Division last Friday. Hundeyin revealed, “The survivor’s mother said her daughter was defiled by her husband and his friend. The case was transferred to the Gender Unit in Ikeja. The survivor is now nine months pregnant.”
He added that the case will be prosecuted once the investigation is completed.
