Veteran Nollywood actor Columbus Irisoanga, widely known as ‘Igbudu,’ has passed away. His death was announced by veteran actress and politician Hilda Dokubo through an Instagram post.
Dokubo expressed deep sorrow over his passing, emphasizing its impact on the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and the Nollywood industry. She wrote, “There can’t be shortage of Angels in heaven that the few here are called home like this na! This one is heavy on Uniport Rivers state Nollywood.”
Columbus Irisoanga’s passing comes shortly after the death of another Nollywood actress, Pat Ugwu, who was just 35 years old.
The Nollywood community has been deeply affected by the recent losses of its beloved members, sparking an outpouring of condolences from colleagues and fans.
