General Ibrahim Babangida has reiterated his dedication to Nigeria’s unity as The Nigerian Project, a political movement, prepares for the 2027 elections and national reforms.
With the general elections approaching, Babangida’s political allies are coming together once again, emphasizing national unity and progress.
During a visit to his Hilltop residence in Minna, members of The Nigerian Project met with the former military president, who reaffirmed his strong belief in a united and prosperous Nigeria.
He stressed that true development is impossible in a divided country.
Reaffirming Nigeria’s indivisibility, Babangida encouraged citizens to remain loyal to the nation and its leadership.
He advocated for inclusive governance where people can voice their opinions, participate in discussions, and see policies that drive national progress.
“I believe in one Nigeria, and on its unity, I stand. Thank you for following my footsteps and upholding the ideals of patriotism and national unity that we all fought for,” Babangida told the delegation.
