The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC), has announced the commencement of a nationwide recruitment drive to fill various vacancies across different ministries, departments, and agencies within the Federal Civil Service.
In a statement released on Monday by Taiwo Hassan, the Head of Press and Public Relations for the commission, interested and eligible Nigerians were urged to seize the opportunity by applying via the commission’s official recruitment portal.
The statement emphasized that applicants are to apply for only one position, with detailed instructions and guidelines available on the official website and national newspapers.
According to Hassan, “The Federal Civil Service Commission is currently receiving applications for numerous job openings within the Federal Civil Service. The vacancy details can be accessed on the commission’s website: www.fedcivilservice.gov.ng, and in leading national newspapers. Eligible candidates must apply for only one position using the official application link: https://recruitment.fedcivilservice.gov.ng. Physically challenged applicants are encouraged to state the nature of their disability.”
Required Documents for Application
Applicants are expected to upload scanned copies of the following documents:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Ph.D./Master’s Degree Certificate (where applicable)
- Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Diploma (HND)/National Certificate of Education (NCE)
- Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)
- Primary School Certificate
- NYSC Discharge, Exemption, or Exclusion Certificate
- Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
- Local Government Identification Certificate
- A recent passport photograph
The commission stressed that incomplete applications or failure to adhere to the stated guidelines will lead to disqualification.
Application Deadline
Eligible Nigerians are encouraged to submit their applications on or before Monday, March 10, 2025. Late submissions will not be entertained under any circumstances.
