Anambra Government Demolishes Kidnappers’ Den Disguised as Hotel

The Anambra State Government has taken a bold step in the fight against crime, demolishing a kidnappers’ den masquerading as a hotel along the Onitsha-Owerri Road. The hotel, known as Udoka Golden Point Hotel and Suites, or “La Cruise Hotel,” was reportedly a hub for kidnappers and other criminal elements.

A statement shared on the Anambra State New Media X account on Saturday revealed the shocking discovery of over 30 well-partitioned graves on the last floor of the hotel, along with a shrine. The demolition exercise was carried out under tight security, marking a significant victory in the state’s efforts to combat crime.

This development comes amidst a series of efforts by the government to tackle kidnapping and other criminal activities in the state. The demolition of the kidnappers’ den sends a strong message that the government will not tolerate such activities and will take decisive action to protect its citizens.

The Anambra State Government’s actions have been commended by many, who see this as a step in the right direction towards ensuring the safety and security of residents.
