A devastating car accident on Monday has claimed the life of Adam, the adopted son of Olatunji Disu, the Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). According to sources, Adam was alone in his BMW when the vehicle crashed, caught fire, and rolled over into a ditch .
Adam, who was 33 years old, had been raised by Disu since he was two years old. He had recently completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program last year. Family sources have described the loss as heartbreaking, sparking an outpouring of condolences from colleagues, friends, and the general public.
In a poignant coincidence, Disu had paid a condolence visit to CSP A.A. Sambo, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ushafa Division, who had also lost his son. During the visit, Disu expressed heartfelt sympathies and assured Sambo and his family of the Command’s unwavering support during this difficult time.
Disu’s leadership of the FCT Police Command has been marked by this personal tragedy, which has sent shockwaves through the police community.
