In a groundbreaking move, the Benue State Procurement Commission, under the visionary leadership of Director-General Engr. Dr. Comfort Adadu, has introduce an electronic procurement portal. This innovative platform is set to revolutionize the procurement process in the state, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and accountability.
During the training of staff on e- procurement , Mr. Ogbuloko Lazarus from Geemla Technologies Consultant provided a comprehensive overview of the portal’s operations. He emphasized that the platform will significantly enhance procurement efficiency, provide transparency in procurement processes, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
The commissions accountant mr.Hungwa Denen, gave an update on the manual procedure which was the normal way before,but emphasized that the method has not changed,the difference is that the contractor has to go online to register.This insight underscored the commissions commitment to upholding the highest standards of transparency and accountability
