The Edo State Security Corps has announced an immediate recruitment exercise for Neighbourhood Watch, City Guard, and Hunters across the state. The recruitment exercise is scheduled to take place at various Local Government Areas Headquarters, with specific dates allocated to each area.
Recruitment Schedule:
– *Edo South:* Oredo (January 18-20), Ikpoba-Okha (January 21-23), Egor (January 25-27), Uhunmwonde (January 28-31), Orhionmwon (February 1-3), Ovia North East (February 5-6), and Ovia South West (February 8-9)
– *Edo North:* Akoko-Edo (February 11-13), Etsako East (February 15-16), Etsako Central (February 17-18), Owan West (February 20-21), Owan East (February 22-23), and Etsako West (February 26-28)
– *Edo Central:* Esan Central (March 20-31), Esan North East (March 8-9), Esan West (March 3), Esan South East (March 18-19), and Igueben (March 18-19)
Requirements:
– Must be an indigene of Edo State
– Must not have any pending criminal matter or conviction
– Must be physically and mentally fit
– Must have at least a minimum of West Africa School Certificate or NECO
– Must be 18 years and above in age
– Must not belong to any secret cult
– Must submit a letter of identification from their Local Government Traditional ruler or a senior officer
The salary for successful applicants will be attractive and as approved by the Edo State Government. Interested applicants are encouraged to report to their designated Local Government Areas Headquarters on the scheduled dates.
