20,000 Nigerian Armed Forces Personnel to Benefit from Consumer Credit Programme

The Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation has partnered with Fewchore Finance to provide consumer credit to personnel of the armed forces, commemorating Armed Forces Remembrance Day. This initiative aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s vision to extend consumer credit access to over 50% of working Nigerians by 2030.

The programme aims to ease the financial burden of armed forces personnel, boost morale, and enhance their families’ well-being. With affordable consumer credit, beneficiaries can acquire life-enhancing household assets and meet immediate financial challenges, with better terms for locally manufactured goods.

According to Uzoma Nwagba, Managing Director/CEO of CREDICORP, “This programme shows Mr. President’s commitment to supporting those who protect and serve our nation.” Sunkanmi Balogun, Managing Director/CEO of Fewchore Finance, added that they are proud to support the courageous men and women of the armed forces.

The initiative’s first phase will benefit 20,000 armed forces personnel, with phased implementation ensuring equitable access across all branches of the Armed Forces.
