Family and friends of Salome Eleojo Adaidu, allegedly killed by gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi, have shared details about the incident. Contrary to viral reports that Salome was Timileyin’s girlfriend, her family stated this was untrue.
According to her family, Salome entered the wrong Keke (commercial tricycle) and was kidnapped by Timileyin, who later killed her. A Facebook user, Alli Stephen, revealed that Timileyin lied about their relationship after his arrest, asserting that Salome was like a sister to him. Alli recounted that Salome left home at 11 a.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2025, to visit a friend in Karu, Nasarawa State. She entered the wrong Keke, which led to the tragic events.
Alli stated that he spoke with Salome’s older sister at 2 p.m. and again at 6 p.m. Later, her sister called to inform him of Salome’s death. He explained that a bike rider carrying Timileyin raised the alarm because the bag Timileyin carried was dripping blood.
