COLLEGE OF MEDIA AIDES PASSES VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON GOV. ALIA, HIS CPS

The Media Aides of Local government chairmen across the 23 Local government area of Benue State today passed a vote of confidence on the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia and his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Tersoo Kula.

The Media aides were earlier in the office of the number one Iconic media Don to the Governor for a courtesy visit.

Speaking through their leader, Mr. Eric Iortyer, the Local government media team said they were in the office of the CPS to first declare their unalloyed loyalty to Governor Hyacinth Alia, his government and to pass a vote of confidence on him for his exceptional leadership style.

He stated further that their visit is to also pay solidarity to the CPS and offer their appreciation for his giant strides in the discharge of his duties as the one number image maker of the Governor and to assure him of their support, especially, at the grassroots.

Responding, the Chief Press Secretary Sir Tersoo kula thanked the college of media aides at the local government level for such a gesture of finding it wise to visit and identify with him. Sir Kulas further intimated them of governor Alia’s giants achievements in office within the period of a year and eight months so far to include revitalization of the health sector, revamping the agricultural sector, breathing life into the education, prompt payment of salaries and benefits of pension, overhaul of infrastructural development among many others.

He called on them to join hands with him in working in synergy and to remain resolute in the discharge of their duties and not be despair even as he assured them of his full fatherly guidance and support at all times.

In reactions, the Principal Special Assistant on Print Media Hon Donald Kumum appreciated the team for such a wonderful gesture of coming to identify with the head of media in Benue State even as he further buttressed the CPS call for a harmonious working relationship.

Hon Isaac Uzaan, the Principal Special Assistant on Media and Content Creation, also encouraged the team to always make sure that they engaged in team spirit as they discharged their duties.
