In a remarkable turn of events, Assistant Commissioner of Police Daniel Amah, renowned for his integrity in rejecting a $200,000 bribe, has converted to Islam. The ceremony took place at the palace of the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, where Amah was formally welcomed into the faith and adopted Muhammad as his new name.
During the private event, the Emir urged Amah to seek Islamic knowledge and diligently observe the five pillars of Islam, which include belief in Allah, the five daily prayers, fasting during Ramadan, pilgrimage to Mecca, and Zakat (charitable giving). The Emir prayed for Allah’s guidance, hoping Amah would become one of the best Muslims in the world.
