Tayo Oluwatuyi, the Secretary to the Ondo State Government (SSG), has passed away. According to sources within the Ondo State government, Oluwatuyi died on Saturday morning at an undisclosed hospital.
Oluwatuyi was appointed by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in January 2024 and had previously served as Ondo SSG under the late Rotimi Akeredolu’s administration.
In a tragic turn of events, Oluwatuyi was involved in an auto crash along the Ife-Ibadan Expressway in December. He sustained injuries and was taken to the intensive care unit of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
