The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has expressed its deepest condolences to the Kwara State Government following the passing of Mahe Abdulkadir, the Chief of Staff to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. Abdulkadir, who was described as a dedicated public servant, passed away on Saturday at the age of 73.
In a statement issued by Akintunde Sawyerr, the Managing Director of NELFUND, Abdulkadir’s unwavering commitment to the development of Kwara State was highlighted. His exemplary leadership and contributions will be remembered as a lasting legacy of service to his state and country.
NELFUND extended its condolences to Governor AbdulRazaq, the Abdulkadir family, and the people of Kwara State. “Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this period of immense loss,” the statement read. “May the Almighty grant the departed eternal rest and comfort those he has left behind.”
Abdulkadir was the eldest son of the 10th Emir of Ilorin, Aliyu Abdulkadir, and had served as Chief of Staff to AbdulRazaq for 17 months, following the death of his predecessor, Adisa Logun.
