A man, Olaleye Abdullahi, is currently bedridden after being shot by Inspector Moses Momoh, a policeman allegedly under the influence of alcohol, in Ogun State. The incident occurred on December 12, 2024, in front of Matrix Petrol Station.
Abdullahi’s family claims he has been abandoned by police authorities at the hospital, while Inspector Moses was released from detention 24 hours after the incident without paying the hospital bills. The family demands justice, calling for “all necessary legal measures” to be taken against Inspector Moses.
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer was unreachable for comment.
