Swedish rapper Gaboro, whose real name was Ninos Khouri, was fatally shot in a car park on Thursday night, Dec 19, according to reports.
The 24-year-old’s murder was allegedly filmed by the assailant, with the disturbing footage circulating on social media. The video shows the attacker repeatedly assaulting Gaboro, who can be seen attempting to flee. Unfortunately, he was unable to escape the fatal attack.
Police were alerted to a shooting in a city center car park around 8pm, and no arrests have been made in connection with the tragedy. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the rapper with gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but tragically succumbed to his injuries shortly afterward.
Reports from Swedish outlet Expressen suggest that Gaboro had ties to local gangs. This tragic event marks the latest in a series of rapper deaths in the country, following the fatal shooting of 26-year-old rapper C. Gambino, who was also targeted in a car park ambush.
