Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has appointed Hon. Gani Audu as his Chief of Staff, effective immediately. This move is expected to support the governor’s efforts to drive meaningful reforms in the state.
Hon. Gani Audu brings a wealth of experience to the role, having served as Chairman of Etsako West Local Government Council from 2004 to 2010 and as a member of the Edo State House of Assembly from 2015 to 2023. He was also the deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the 2020 Edo State Governorship elections.
Audu’s educational background includes an HND from Auchi Polytechnic, a PGD in Business Administration from Benson Idahosa University, and an M.Sc in Intelligence and Global Security from Baze University, Abuja.
Governor Okpebholo’s decision to appoint Audu as Chief of Staff is seen as a strategic move to tap into his expertise and experience in governance, which will be crucial in driving reforms in the state.
