Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Council of Veritas University, Abuja, has expressed optimism that Nigeria’s current problems will be solved through innovations from students. Speaking at the university’s 13th convocation ceremony, Kukah emphasized the importance of students’ creativity in addressing the country’s challenges.
– 56 graduates secured first-class honors, including 43 female students.
– Students have excelled in local and international awards for individual and group collaborations.
– The university aims to produce graduates who will create jobs and excel in a rapidly changing world.
Rev. Fr. Prof. Hyacinth Ichoku urged graduates to “fly high and soar like eagles” and never forget their days at Veritas University. He emphasized the importance of institutional memories and the formation gained during their time at the university.
