A 43-year-old Nigerian man, Abimbola David, has been detained by London authorities for allegedly engaging in inappropriate online communication with a 14-year-old girl. Abimbola, who holds a student visa and is married with two children, was arrested after the minor reported him with evidence.

According to reports, Abimbola made inappropriate requests to the girl through an online platform. During questioning, he claimed he was unaware of her age and thought she was 18, as stated on the dating app. However, the girl had revealed her true age during their conversations.

Abimbola denied any malicious intent, stating he was using the app to pass the time and didn’t believe the girl’s age. He asserted, “I don’t deal with minors. If she had sent me those pictures, I would delete them.”
