The governor explained that Barr. Mnyim’s decision to join a suit challenging the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) without permission led to the suspension ¹. Alia stated that his administration is working to hold accountable those who embezzled state funds, with the EFCC and ICPC assisting in the effort. He questioned how he could challenge these agencies, given their role in combating corruption.
