In a historic stakeholders’ meeting held on August 29, 2024, Bar. James Kwaghbee Ikyaagba was unanimously adopted as the consensus candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Guma Local Government Area for the forthcoming chairmanship local government elections.
The meeting, attended by representatives from all 10 council wards in Guma LGA, demonstrated unity and solidarity as stakeholders presented Bar. Ikyaagba as the consensus candidate. He was endorsed over Hon. Jimin Geoffrey from Mbabai council ward.
The endorsement was witnessed by Hon. Mike Adyo, Chairman of the PDP Local Government Electoral Committee, and marks a significant milestone in the party’s preparations for the local government elections.
Bar. Ikyaagba, a native of Saghav, is poised to lead Guma LGA into a new era of progress and development. The PDP stakeholders have pledged their support for his candidacy, ensuring a united front for the party in the upcoming elections.
