Controversial Nigerian cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has spoken out about his recent prison release and disputed the charges that led to his six-month imprisonment for naira mutilation.
In an interview with Bae U Barbie on Saturday, Bobrisky emphasized his disagreement with the charges, maintaining that his actions did not warrant imprisonment. When asked about being an ex-convict, he firmly stated, “I’m not an ex-convict, because I can’t be convicted for spraying money, I would not accept that.”
Bobrisky also made it clear that he has no intention of stopping his flamboyant displays of wealth but will switch currencies. “I am still going to spray money, but I will only spray dollars, not naira,” he said.
This statement suggests that Bobrisky is determined to continue showcasing his wealth, albeit with a change in currency, in defiance of the charges that led to his imprisonment. His release from prison on August 5, 2024, after serving six months has sparked a renewed interest in his activities, and his latest statement is sure to generate further debate and attention.
