Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has appointed Kpenkaan Terhemen Johnpaul as the Executive Secretary of the Benue Investment Promotion Agency (BENIPA).
Kpenkaan, a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC) and a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, summa cum laude. With over 17 years of experience, he is renowned for driving innovation across diverse sectors.
Prior to his appointment, Kpenkaan served as Technical Adviser to the Managing Director of Benue Investment and Property Company, where he successfully hosted the maiden Benue Local Investors Forum in December 2023. He also pioneered the development of the Academy for MSMEs, transforming entrepreneurial training across 22 states in Nigeria during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Governor Alia charges Kpenkaan to prioritize the interest of the state and align his actions with the administration’s seven-point agenda. With his wealth of knowledge and experience, the Governor believes Kpenkaan will make a significant impact in his new role.
