A recent Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon has resulted in a rising death toll, with 10 fatalities, including two children.
The strike, which targeted a brick mill in the northern town of Al-Kafour, killed mostly Syrian nationals, including the mill’s caretaker and his family.
Five others were injured, with some in critical condition.
The Israeli army claimed the strike hit a Hezbollah militia weapons depot, while also acknowledging reports of civilian casualties are under review.
This incident is the latest in a series of daily firefights between Hezbollah and Israel, resulting in over 120 civilian casualties, mostly on the Lebanese side.
