91-year-old Richard Lugner has died just weeks after marrying 42-year-old widow, Simone.
The Austrian billionaire, known for his extravagant lifestyle and high-profile relationships, passed away in his Viennese villa after suffering several health issues.
Simone, who was 49 years his junior, shared a touching message on Instagram, describing Richard as her shining love and posting a painting of him.
The couple had married just weeks before his death, with Richard describing their wedding as “fantastically beautiful”.
Simone had previously praised Richard as a successful and rare find, saying he represented everything she wanted in a man.
Richard was famous for paying celebrities to attend Vienna’s Opera Ball, earning him the nickname “Mr Concrete” for his construction business success and flamboyant social life.
