President Bola Tinubu has launched 30 hybrid-powered Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses at the State House in Abuja, donated by the Depots and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria.
This initiative aims to address transportation issues in the Federal Capital Territory. Additionally, President Tinubu has commissioned the first batch of 20 locally produced CNG buses manufactured by Innoson Motors at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The provision of CNG buses is part of the federal government’s efforts to reduce the effects of fuel subsidy removal and provide alternative transportation solutions.
