Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed, visited the scene on Thursday and emphasized the importance of the road, saying it serves as a critical link between the North-West and North-East parts of Nigeria. He assured residents and motorists that he would inform the Federal Government of the situation to seek immediate intervention.
