The National Universities Commission (NUC) has commended Maduka University for its outstanding medical facilities, paving the way for the institution’s Medical Sciences programs to take off. A Resource Verification Team from NUC visited the university on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, and was impressed by the exemplary infrastructure in place.
Led by Prof. Bello Bala Shehu, the team praised the university’s Founder and Chancellor, Dr. Sam Maduka Onyishi, for turning his vision into a reality. Prof. Shehu encouraged students and staff to appreciate the ideal environment provided for teaching and learning.
The university’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Charles Ogbulogo, highlighted the significant progress made since the NUC’s first visit in October 2023, which recognized 19 academic programs. He expressed excitement about the NUC’s role in establishing new programs and assured the team of the university’s commitment to maintaining high academic standards.
This development solidifies Maduka University’s dedication to offering programs that significantly impact society, and the NUC’s approval marks a significant milestone in the university’s journey.
