A Pentecostal Pastor in Ondo State, Anthony Ebele was on Saturday evening kidnapped by gunmen at his farm in Akure North.
The abductors contacted his family even though no ransom was been made yet.
The state police command has confirmed the incident, and spokesperson Funmi Odunlami-Omisanya has assured that everything possible will be done to secure the pastor’s release.
The police said they are working to ensure the safe return of the pastor, and an investigation is underway.
The community is in shock, and prayers are being offered for the pastor’s safe return.
