Trifutes Pour in as Ex-Arsenal and Everton Star Kevin Campbell Dies at 54

 

The football community is in mourning following the passing of former Arsenal and Everton striker, Kevin Campbell. The prolific goal scorer died on June 15, 2024, at the age of 54. Campbell enjoyed a successful career, playing for several clubs, including Arsenal, Everton, and West Bromwich Albion. He was also a coach and a pundit after his retirement from active football.

 

Campbell’s death has been met with an outpouring of tributes from the football community, with many of his former clubs and teammates paying their respects. Arsenal, in a statement, described Campbell as “a true legend” and a “fantastic player.” Everton, where Campbell spent five seasons, also paid tribute to their former striker, saying he was “a fan favorite” and “a true Evertonian.”

 

Football legends, including former England strikers, Alan Shearer and Ian Wright, have also paid their respects to Campbell, describing him as “a great player” and “a good friend.” Campbell’s death has left a huge void in the football community, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
