The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has expressed concerns over the economic policies of the Tinubu administration, stating that the “Renewed Hope Agenda” has not brought about the desired benefits for the people. In a press release, the party highlighted the high inflation rate, the fiscal crisis, and the exodus of manufacturing companies from the country as indicators of the worsening economic situation.
The NNPP called on the Federal Government to review its policies and prioritize spending on key sectors like education and health. The party also criticized the government for intervening in state matters, such as the Emirship stool in Kano, instead of focusing on addressing the security challenges facing the country.
The statement by NNPP National Publicity Secretary, Ladipo Johnson, emphasized the need for the government to deliver tangible results to alleviate the suffering of Nigerians who are currently experiencing poverty, hunger, and insecurity. The party urged President Tinubu to concentrate on governance and address the pressing issues affecting the country rather than engaging in political distractions.
The NNPP called for a drastic review of government policies and programs to improve the lives of Nigerians and ensure a brighter future for the country.
