The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled a new match ball named “Ola” for its interclub competitions. The name, which carries significant meaning in both Yoruba and Arabic languages, reflects the spirit of African football.
“Ola” symbolizes wealth, honor, and respect in Yoruba, while also representing rise and success in Arabic. The design of the ball is inspired by Africa’s vibrant colors, art, and traditions.
The new match ball will be used for the upcoming finals of the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup.
