Gov. Alia Seeks Collaboration, Partnership with South Korea

Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, met with South Korea’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Vice Admiral (rtd) Kim Pankyu, to explore collaboration in areas like smart schools, renewable energy, and investment opportunities.

Governor Alia highlighted past economic ties between Benue and South Korea, including investments in Lobi Bank, and expressed interest in renewed partnerships in education, investment, culture, and tourism.
Ambassador Kim, welcoming Governor Alia as the first Benue State governor to visit the embassy, pledged his commitment to fostering a strong relationship between South Korea and Benue State, particularly in attracting direct investment.
