This revelation comes just after AY publicly acknowledged the challenges they have been facing in their marriage. The comedian expressed his concerns that their twenty-year friendship, as well as their marriage, were slowly slipping away.
In response to her husband’s candid statement, Mabel took to her Instagram page to share a video clip that indicated distance has now become her chosen method of dealing with disrespect. The clip, which Mabel posted on her Instagram story, featured the words: “Distance is my new response to disrespect. I don’t react. I don’t argue, I don’t dive into the drama. I simply remove myself.”
AY Makun and Mabel tied the knot in November 2008 and have since welcomed two children into their family.
