The Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has denied rumors of abandoning the party, affirming his continued membership and staunch opposition to anti-party activities.
Speaking on a social media Space hosted by Parallel Facts, Obi emphasized, “I am still a member of the Labour Party and I don’t and will never do anti-party.”
Additionally, he maintained that he did not concede defeat in the 2023 presidential election, highlighting the impact of his supporters, the Obidients, both nationally and globally. “We did not lose the election of 2023, we won,” he asserted, encouraging his followers to remain steadfast and optimistic about the prospects of a new Nigeria.
