Residents in Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Sunday morning raided and plundered a warehouse belonging to the National Emergency Management Agency of Nigeria (NEMA).
The warehouse was located in Karimo, Phase 3 Region of the FCT, Abuja.
Spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, Josephine Adeh, says the Nigeria Police Force has been deployed to disperse the looters and secure the building.
According to her, the situation has been brought under control.
Many Nigerians have been lamenting hardship following the removal of fuel subsidy and the devaluation of the naira after it was floated by President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
