Reports had it that the passengers were travelling in a luxurious bus from Port Harcourt for Lagos when the crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. at a stepdown area in Ore, Ondo State.
Speaking on the crash, the state police command spokesperson, Funmi Odunlami, said that it was a lone accident.
Odunlami added that the crash occurred at a stepdown area in Ore, and it involved a Chisco Company luxurious bus marked KSF 93 YG.
According to her, “passengers of the vehicle were rushed to Grace of God hospital by the police; 4 people were confirmed dead and their remains deposited at the hospital mortuary, while 10 were injured and are being treated.
Odunlami noted that ” information has it that the vehicle left Port Harcourt for Lagos, and on getting to the stepdown area of Ore, he lost control and entered a ditch, which led to the accident.

to check on their loved ones who left for Lagos from Port Harcourt with Chisco Transport on the above-mentioned date.
The command, according to her, sympathised with the families of those who lost their loved ones in the unfortunate accident and used this medium to advise transportation companies to be circumspect on the physical and mental condition of drivers engaged in driving passengers.
