Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has uncovered illegal crude oil warehouses in Imo State even as it apprehended two suspects in separate operations conducted in the state.
NSCDC made this known in a post on its official Facebook page on Sunday.
The agency while sharing images showcasing the successful enforcement activities wrote:
“Intensifying the war against economic saboteurs: The CG SIS arrests two suspected economic saboteurs and impounds one Toyota Sequoia jeep loaded with over 5,000 litres of suspected adulterated AGO at Abacheke of Ohaji/Egbema LGA of Imo State.”
NSCDC also revealed that two illegal crude oil warehouses located in a dense forest in Izorsu community of Oguta II Local Government Area and Umuofor community of Oguta Local Government Area in Imo State were discovered and subsequently destroyed during the operation.
