Separatist militants suspected to be loyalists of the Biafra Nations League, BnL, Dragon Fighter Marine have killed 3 members of the Cameroonian Armed Forces, the Rapid d’intervention Battalions, BIR, in what could be termed a defensive attack.
It was gathered that the Cameroons President special elite Force tried to invade the Atabong East communities in Idabato subdivision where senior officers of the BnL met few days ago but were overwhelmed by the Biafran forces.
The ongoing melee which lasted for 15 minutes in the battle for control of Idabato subdivision forced the BIR to retreat from the area but not with another reinforcement.
According to incident reports, the Militant group opened fire from behind and killed three of the BIR.
The incident was said to have happened at 4pm on 31 October, 2023.
