The Chicago University has confirmed that President Tinubu graduated from the school.
The U.S University made this known in a reply to PDP’s Candidate, Atiku Abubakar subpoena to the school.
In a letter by Michael D Hayes on behalf of the University to Atiku Abubakar, it noted that Tinubu graduated from the University in 1979 but says President Tinubu opposes the details of his educational records, it defers to the Nigerian President on “privacy issues implicated by Abubakar’s submission”.
The implication of this is that the University will only confirm President Tinubu graduated from the school but would not specifically show his student records while at the University.
Atiku Abubakar is challenging the declaration of President Tinubu as the winner of the February 2023 polls.
He among other claims says Tinubu submitted fake educational credentials to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
