Kaduna State Government Reduces School Fees Of All State-owned Tertiary Institutions

The Kaduna State Government has announced a downward review of fees for state owned tertiary institutions.

 

 

The Uba Sani led state government made this known in a press release.

 

 

In the statement, the Kaduna State University will have a 30 percent reduction, with the current fee of N150,000 slashed to N105,000.

 

In the same vein, the Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic had a 50 percent reduction, with the current Fee of N100,000 reduced to N50,000.

 

That of COE, Gidan Waya was reduced from N75,000 to N37,500 a 50 percent reduction.

 

 

 

The Shehu Idris College of Health Sci & Tech, Makarfi HND Courses fees was slashed from N100,000 to 70,000, a 30 percent reduction.

 

The Kaduna State College of Nursing had a 30 percent fees slash from N100,000 to N70,000.

 

 

It would be recalled that many tertiary institutions in Nigeria had an upward hike of their fees in reaction to the cost of maintenance associated with the removal of fuel subsidy.
