A video circulating online captured the moment when the lawmaker made a dramatic entrance in the tricycle. However, his attempt to enter the assembly building was met with a roadblock. Security guards stationed at the gate did not lift the barricade, preventing his entry. In an exchange caught on camera, the tricycle driver informed the visibly displeased legislator, “Oga, dem say keke no dey enter.” Undeterred, Hon. Udemezue disembarked from the tricycle and confronted the security personnel, questioning their decision. He rhetorically asked, “You give me car? Have you given me a car? Is it not what I have that I will use?”The incident of the Anambra lawmaker arriving in a Keke has sparked discussions about the treatment of public officials and the challenges they face. The use of tricycles for transportation, while common for many citizens, seems to have been a point of contention in this particular case.
